Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations, plan changes, and refunds work for RankedContent paid plans. It forms part of our Terms of Service, which also state that RankedContent is intended for business and professional use.
Paid plans are sold through Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Stripe issues your receipts and invoices. On your card statement the charge appears as LINK.COM* followed by our name, because Link is the Stripe service that completes the purchase. Stripe's own payment terms apply alongside this policy.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time from Settings in the app: the Manage billing button opens your Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel the subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund the remaining part of a billing period, monthly or annual.
When the paid period ends, the workspace is paused: keyword and AI search tracking stop and new analyses are on hold. Nothing is deleted right away. Your projects, keywords, and history are kept for 90 days after the subscription ends, and reactivating within that time brings everything back. After 90 days the workspace and its data are permanently deleted.
Changing Plans
You can move to a different plan or billing interval at any time from the same billing portal. An upgrade applies immediately, and you pay the difference for the rest of the current period right away. A downgrade also applies immediately: the unused part of what you paid becomes a credit on your account and is applied to your next invoices. It is not paid out as a refund. If the smaller plan allows fewer keyword slots than you are using, the newest keywords above the new limit are paused, not deleted.
Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for about two weeks and emails you so you can update your payment method in the billing portal. Your access continues during that time. If the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled and the workspace is paused, with the same 90-day retention described above.
Refunds
Fees are non-refundable, with these exceptions:
- Billing errors. If you were charged by mistake, for example twice for the same period or after a cancellation took effect, we refund the incorrect charge in full. Tell us within 60 days of the charge.
- Mandatory law. If the law that applies to your purchase gives you a refund right that cannot be excluded by agreement, this policy does not limit it.
Refunds go back to the original payment method and include any tax that was charged. If you paid in your local currency, you receive the amount you were charged in that currency. A refund usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Because the purchase is sold through Stripe as the merchant of record, you can also raise a payment question with Stripe's Link support, and Stripe may handle a refund request directly under its own payment terms.
Trials and Packages
Free trials need no payment details and end automatically. You are charged only when you choose a paid plan. Anything you buy from us directly, such as a one-time analysis package, follows the same refund rules.
Questions About a Charge
Contact us from the email address you use to sign in to RankedContent, with the date and amount of the charge, and we will look into it.
